CARING FOR YOUR AIR PLANTS

Follow these simple tips for air plant success:

Do not plant them in soil.

Air plants receive moisture and nutrients through their leaves.

Water your air plant after unpacking and once every 7-10 days with misting between as needed.

Completely submerge them in water for 20-30 minutes. Then, shake off excess water and dry upside-down until completely dry.

Allowing your plants to dry helps reduce the chance of rot.

Give your air plants good air flow.

You will know if your air plant needs water because
the leaf tips will turn brown and the leaves will wither.

Air plants like bright indirect sun, even fluorescent home/office lighting, but more than a few hours of hot sun will deplete the plants of their moisture

Air plants prefer temperatures between 50-90°F, surviving brief exposures to light frosts and temperatures over 100°F.

Follow these directions and your air plants will stay alive and well for quite some time.
